Hey, it’s Zach and Cass. We’re so glad you’re here. The two of us have been shooting weddings forever. Eventually we got it down to a science, and then realized we weren’t having fun anymore. So we started pushing the boundaries and loosening up a little. We experimented with color grading and shot selection. We cared less about “perfection.” And our photos and videos took on new life.

Scrolling online we found a handful of creators who inspired us — but mostly lots of boring, cookie cutter edits. We wanted to tell a real story… something pure and unique; something that makes you feel when you see it.

So Flower and Pine was born.

We realized that we needed to build a team of people who think like us. People who are excited to tell love stories and like to bend the rules when it comes to possibility. So we made some friends. We started collaborating with people who had put the time into their craft when it comes to lighting, composition, directing, editing, coloring — and just being all around cool.

The thing is: when you work with us, we aren’t going to tell you exactly how to pose. We won’t always fix your dress or straighten your tie. Some of our favorite shots are unexpected — blurry or imperfect in some way. That’s what makes them beautiful. To us, it really doesn’t make sense to capture boring images on one of the most special days of your life.
